Peter C. Robertson

Peter C. Robertson is a lifetime resident of Kansas.  He grew up and graduated from high school in Junction City.  Peter graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1989. After graduation, he worked in various sales and marketing roles in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area. In 1994, he joined Townsend Outlook Publishing in Kansas City, Missouri, where he quickly rose to Director of New Product Development after creating successful college recruitment publications targeting high school art and music students. Following a successful marketing career, Peter decided to pursue law, following in his father’s footsteps.

Since graduating from Washburn University School of Law Peter has practiced as an Associate Attorney with Crow & Associates in Leavenworth, Kansas for a total of 15 years. He has participated in two significant Kansas appellate cases: one where the Kansas Supreme Court clarified long-held precedent regarding an employer’s liability to third parties due to the conduct of their employees, and another where the Kansas Court of Appeals upheld summary judgment in favor of his clients in a case involving invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful death.

Peter currently handles personal injury, consumer bankruptcy, residential and commercial landlord/tenant law, contracts, real estate, and general civil litigation. He also serves as General Counsel for Lan-Del Water District, and lead counsel for the Leavenworth Waterworks Department in civil litigation and contract matters.

Peter is licensed to practice law in Kansas in both federal and state courts, and resides in Leavenworth, Kansas.
